Tarra Sharp founded the fund to realize her dream of becoming an entrepreneur through acquisition. Over the three years that she searched for a business, she met and was inspired by hundreds of business owners, worked with an invaluable group of investors, and provided internship opportunities to talented undergraduate and graduate students.
Throughout it all she is proud to have maintained the values of the organization – Transparency, Fairness, Excellence, and Empathy – and honored the legacy of her 3rd great-grandparents, John and Hattie Macon, the namesakes of the fund.
Though this endeavor did not end with the purchase of a business, she is grateful for the tremendous personal and professional growth that she experienced, and excited to continue to pursue her entrepreneurial dreams.
